no sad. Is good thing. Think about it. How much of our lives do we worry, do we fret over things that are quite simply, when you take a good look at them... kinda pointless.
How many kids holding their teddy bears feel that?
None that I've seen. Even those who are holding their teddy bears and crying, I see in them the protection of stuffing. I see the comfort of a friend who never judges, who never questions. Who simply is there while the rest of us have forgotten what it means to simply be there.
We can learn a lot from the teddy bear. How to listen. How to be dependable, how to hug, and hopefully we won't have to learn how to get our arms sown back on after too much use.
Step back from all that is wrong in the world. Forget you're an adult for a few. Grab a teddy bear (borrow your kid's if they'll let you) and just hug it. Remember what it's like to just be. Then maybe, just maybe, the world will be brighter.
If not, Hey, you just get free time being silly hugging a teddy bear. Rock on!
